This beer would be awesome barrel aged. This beer is my overall favorite at the brewery. The malt profile is perfect

On tap, poured into a 13oz tulip glass. $8
Very dark, very very dark and opaque for an ale, appearance is more of a porter or stout with very little carbonation and small creamy white head.
Smell of coffee and chocolate covered walnut.
Tastes like it smells, rich on coffee, chocolate and candied nut notes.Very silky mouthfeel but not sticky. Very little alcohol feel, easy to sip considering the abv.
Overall a well done beer that is very ninja in terms of drinkability. It even paired well with the chicken sandwich I brought with me. Great brew from a great little brewery.
