Collaboration beer between 9 local breweries(CB & Potts, Coopersmiths, Crooked Stave, Equinox, Fort Collins, Funkwerks, New Belgium, Odells and Pateros Creek). On draft at Funkwerks.
Pours a hazy golden yellowish orange color with pale golden tangerine hues and a 2.5 finger frothy, soapy off white head that slowly fades into a lasting cap. Sporadic rings, streaks and spots of soapy lacing are left behind.
Complex aroma which is very floral with subtle earthy funk and zesty spice. Sweet malt notes and faint earthy hops. Coriander, flower petals, barnyard notes and faint light fruit.
Lighter end of medium bodied with a very soft mouthfeel. The chrysanthemums and elderglowrrs are very prominent with creaminess and light fruit. Slight zesty spice with pepper but not picking up much szechaun peppercorn. Subtle lingering spice. Abv excellently masked making it very drinkable. Malt is there but not overpowering. Usually collaborations suck because there experimentation and imgaination is better than the final product but this beer came out pretty well, remaining unique without sacrificing quality.
