For the second year in a row, 9 (yes 9!) Fort Collins area brewers got together to create a brew that truly captures the essence of collaboration, and the spirit of Fort Collins. This collaborative effort features mostly Colorado ingredients including malt from Colorado Malting, hops grown in Windsor, Colo., honey harvested in Wellington, Colo., and fresh snow melt from Rocky Mountain National Park. The breweries involved include:
C.B. & Potts Restaurant & Brewery
Coopersmith's Pub & Brewing
Crooked Stave
Equinox Brewing
The Fort Collins Brewery
Funkwerks
New Belgium Brewing
Odell Brewing
Pateros Creek Brewing Company
Collusion Ale pours a brilliant golden color, capped by a thin white head that provides tons of lace. Light bready notes, along with some biscuity aromas mesh with slight floral and citrus hop hints. The light breadiness noticed in the nose is first on the pallet, with hints of honey poking through before being balanced by citrus hop flavors. Medium light in both body and carbonation, Collusion proves to be light, crisp, and refreshing. Check out this write-up of the initial tapping by our friends at Napa of Beer!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
