inspired by the more flavorful mexican beers this is kind of a german style or vienna style lager. pours clear and almost flat looking redish brown with a short white head that goes away fast. smells like earthy sweetish caramel malts and some generic yeast. flavor is pretty good, quite malty, but the feel brings this down for me. its light and drinkable, but its very very thin in the middle, which makes the taste kind of faint. the carbonation is also quite low, which doesnt help that problem. i liked the flavor, but it was my least favorite beer i tried at the brewpub by far, it just wasnt as dialed in as some of the others, but still its a cool style.
