Looking for a nice malty sessionable brew? Now you've got your beer. Mild Mannered Reporter is unassuming but still packs a flavour punch; toasty with a touch of caramel and a solid bitterness.

Bottle from the brewery; thanks to Bryna for picking this up. Served in a pint glass.
A - A finger plus of white foam settles to a thin cap, with some small splotches of lace on the sides of the glass. The body is a lightly hazed pale amber body.
S - A mix of roasted nuts, toast, and biscuit, with touches of dough and caramel. A hint of herbal hops in there too, but this is mostly about the malt.
T - The taste is pretty similar, with a bit more biscuit and brown sugar at the forefront and less toastiness. A light floral note from the hops shows up late but there isn't a ton of bitterness present.
M - Medium-light body, with carbonation that is a tad too zesty for the style. Still, it falls decidedly on the medium part of the scale. Body is a tad grainy, but for 3.8% it's not offensively so.
D - Loads of flavor for a 3.8% beer. Like a light English Brown ale. I imagine this would be excellent on cask. Wish this was year-round rather than Riptide Rye to be honest, as it would make a great session brew.
