Poured from 750ml crowler can into glass. Packaged date is '09/07/17'.
Hazy orange brown body, two finger head settles to interrupted cap, with lines of lacing.
Dank, tropical hops aroma, with background of pine.
Taste is tropical fruit, balanced by malt in the background. Some pine at the end. Sweet and biting.
Medium mouth feel, somewhat coating with sweetness.
Wonderful interplay of dank, sweet, and biting.

Pours a dark golden color with a white head and lots of lacing. Smell was garden/earth hops with some pine and malt. Taste had w/c pine hops with dank musty hops a big malt finish. Mouth feel was slightly on the bitter side with some tropical and orange citrus hops . This IPA had alot of malts in the finish it leaned towards W/C IPA if that what you like.

Hate pouring out of their "big cans" I always spill a little.
Look: It pours a nice hazy gold color with a 2 finger head.
Smell: Great smell, I'd say light dank.
Taste and Feel: Smooth with a ting at the end. The taste lingers a little too long for me, but good overall.
Solid beer from Junkyard

L: Poured into large snifter from a 750 ml large can. Really excited about this one. Pours cloudy dull orange with fluffy white head - no doubt from the messy pour from the oversized can.
S: Amazing juicy tropical hops. Ever so slight yeast.
T: Great blend of tropical (up front) that transitions into a citrus hop burn on the palette. Beautiful malt balance. Some alcohol.
F: Dry with a nice hop burn.
O: Great local brew - proud of the locals! I'm not such a fan of the IPA's that overdo the tropical hops, so this is bliss - a great balance is achieved between all the ingredients.

Smells great, like a brewery tour. Way too dark to be an india PALE ale. It's a tasty hoppy amber ale.

Decent, nice head settles into a thinner lacing pretty quickly on this copper colored IPA. Lighter hops presence tasting IPA compared to their acacia but a worthy pint indeed. Dryer aftertaste but this pretty decent and worth a sampling. The last third or so of this pint seemed almost ruined in a way with the subpar food from the food truck outside this place. I recommend the beers but not the food.

Well damn have they dialed this in over time. Pours a lovely Amber color with tons of lacing on the glass. Juicy, bitter melon aroma. A little maltiness in the back with citrus. Excellent juicy hop flavor, balanced with melon, citrus and malt. Lingering bitter aftertaste that rounds it all out. Highly recommended

Murky bronze copper body. Spotty, sparse lace.
This smells like a nice juicy one. There's some slight toasted caramel on the nose, but it's mostly a tropical melange of pineapple, guava, papaya and kiwi. I really like the aroma and the prominence of pineapple. To me, it's reminiscent of Arrogant Bastard.
Flavor follows suit, but not quite as pronounced on the palate. But very nice nonetheless. It's like a beer version of fruit punch. Pineapple is the main player, which I like, but also papaya. Malt base provides good balance.
Lightly carbonated and medium-full body, but not syrupy by any means. Bitterness is not rough. Alcohol is in the background.
Quite drinkable for an IPA because of unobtrusive bitterness and good flavor.

I'm jacking up the scores for this as it much deserves a higher score based on my most recent tasting.
Perhaps the best IPA I have had from a MN brewery. They really got it dialed in.now...Really a lot of juicy tropical fruits...malt is in perfect balance with light caramel notes...the carbonation is spot on...Granted it fits perfectly into what I particularly like in an IPA but still....I love the way they got good hop flavor out of this and not a biting bitterness. Trying to think what IPA I might like better....Todd the Axeman maybe...This actually reminds me of a slightly less boozy Axeman (which borders into DIPA territoy)....Steel Toe Size 7 would be in the mix but I prefer this...this is better than Liftbridge Hop Dish..Much better than Masala Mama and Fitger's El Nino and as many know those are two breweries close to my heart...
Might want to find a way to get this in your hands...Top Notch!

A-Regal gold. Slightly cloudy
S-Bright citrus. Mandarin oranges, ripe grapefruit and a light notes of caramel like maltiness.
T-Balanced IPA...oranges, tangerines...really a nice flavorful hop dimension here and it combines nicely with a lightly sweetish caramel like malt backing. Very balanced with orange peel on the finish.
M-Medium bodied. Great balance. Hard to believe this is 7.1%. No heat. No Sharpness. Drinks like a fuller bodied APA.
O-I really like this as an approachable, balanced IPA. Not a hop bomb but the caramel malt and citrus hops mingle well together. Might just have been the day but I liked this even better when I had it on tap in Grand Forks this past winter.
