This "Belgian Tripel" ale style is light-bodied but still very malty, and features notes of banana and clove from the Belgian ale yeast. The long finish suggests honey on the palate.

Poured from crowler into glass. Filled date stamped on can as '6/08/18'. '8.1%ALC/VOL'.
Cloudy, deep gold colored body. Three finger white head upon pouring. Minimal lacing.
Malty aroma, with spices, and sugar candy, all of which is quite subtle.
Taste is more expressive than is the smell. Banana, clove, and sweet sugar, which layer over the malts and yeast.
Medium mouth feel. Alcohol is well hidden. A little bit of a chalky feel.
Tastes like a good Belgian-style Tripel. Sweet finish, with the spices backing up the overall malty taste.

Regal gold body. Pure white cap that leaves some nice lace. Almost immediately, I notice great big wafts of fruity, yeasty, estery goodness coming at my nose. Great aroma. The flavor follows suit to a degree. Nice cakey yeastiness. Great fruitiness. Bready malts to back it up. Solid flavor. Meidum-to medium-full body. Nicely carbonated. Easy drinker. Bold aroma and flavor and quite easy to drink for the relatviely high a/v.
This is my 5th brew now from Junkyard and they do not disappoint. At all. I am very impressed with my intial sampling of them.

A-Deep gold colored. Slight haze
S-Very nice. Sweetish with banana, vanilla and some dark fruity notes of plums and dates.
T-Overripe banana, vanilla pudding. A nice sweeter flavor but not cloying at all. Some light cloves in the background.
M-Medium to full bodied. Carbonation is perfect. I hate when these get overcarbonated and airy and this is firm but not airy or over charged.
O-Really a well done tripel. Some might like some more prominent spicy characteristics but I prefer this style along these lines. Another quality offering from this impressive under the radar brewery.
