I can smell the Pilsner malts from 5 feet away filling the air with big, lovely cracker and bread crumb with some light noble hop spice int he background. It is bright to brilliant gold under a 2" white foam cap with fair to good retention. A pleasant light fruit character - pear to apple - introduces, crackery malt and crisp bread crumb flavors. This beer stands out for its well developed Pilsner malt flavors. It is very drinkable and flavorful.

Unassuming, smooth, slightly fruity, and mildly thick in the mouth—all well-executed components of the cream ale profile. Nice light foam, with good lacing (but minimal retention). Nose is faint: booze, with a hint of crackers and a touch of grass. Draughts are deep and clean, but with a maize impression. Solid effort for an, at times, overlooked style.
