This beer pours a very clody deep straw with an average head. The aroma is dominate by mango, with lots of additional notes of peach, papaya, pineapple, pine, and oddly, tomato. The flavor presents sweet peaches, mango, a much larger dose of pine than the aroma, papaya, and maple. The bitterness is splendidly powerful, with just enough malt to provide balance, but not too much sweetness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and slightly sticky on the finish. Overall this is a very solid double IPA with a great load of bitterness, featuring some rather unusual hop flavors. Really a great beer.
