This beer pours a deep black with a medium sized head. The aroma offers up coconut, chocolate, vanilla, and toffee, with the boozy bourbon also being quite apparent. The flavor is semi-sweet, with lots of coconut, pineapple, mango, chocolate, vanilla, and creamy candy tones. The mouthfeel is thick and sticky. Overall this is a wonderfully indulgent dessert of a beer - complex but not brooding, I look forward to more barrel aged beer from Junkyard in the future.
