This beer pours a very pale amber with a voluminous head. The aroma starts off hugely tropical, with mango, papaya, and pineapple all apparent, as well as a strong burst of grapefruit. The flavor is also heavy on the very bright and fresh tropical tones, lots of papaya and mango, some pineapple and grapefruit, and a bit of melon as well. The mouthfeel is somewhat light, with a medium body and subtle carbonation. Overall this is a world class beer. The fruit character is so very vibrant and bright, but there is still a solid balancing layer of bitterness.
