Have gone back to this one a few times over the past few years...nothing too fancy and the mouthful doesn't do the ipa things that I love most, but it showcases Mosaic extremely well. Anyway, this one is from a 12 day old crowler, pours a thick golden orange with a big fluffy white head and good retention and good lacing. Nose is just wonderful mosaic goodness: a little mango, some brambly blackberry, fleshy blueberry, and a little dank earthy garden greenness. Taste follows the nose but doesn't seem quite as layered...and the mouthful lacks bitterness and bite but isn't really NEIPA soft either...it isn't bad, but it doesn't do much for me in plus column, either.

Crowler. White head. Golden orange color.
Dank and weedy which was unexpected. Mosaic does come through a bit but this is different than most mosaic ipas. Earthy and green. A little bit of tropical notes.
Decent, but nothing over the top.

It is not hazy?! OMFG what will we do? Outstanding Mosaic hop aroma that is very dank, herbal, with hints of grass. Flavor is not quite as good. The pool is a little shallow to dive into. It begins with a nice Mosaic assault on the taste buds but with a blink it disappears with little else to carry the beer. No idea what the malt is doing here. Solid body and properly carbonated. Overall a good beer that utilizes this wonder hop very well in the aroma, but the flavor is not at a great level.

Pours a clear golden color with a white head and lacing. Smell is dank and fruity. Taste had garden hops with tropical fruity hops some pine resins and caramel malts. Thin mouth feel was thin with flavor with a slight bitter finish. Not a fan of this brew.

Pours a clear brass colour. Fresh tropical and piney hop nose; very hoppy, wet, and a little sweet. Balanced flavour profile. Carbonation is very low-key. Pale malt body, piney hops, notes of grapefruit pith, but rounded overall. No striking bitterness. Lingering mosaic hop palate, and an even mouth coat from the malts. Fairly simple but decent.

L: foggy, gold in color with slight lacing on the glass
S: hint of carmel, pine
T: sweet malt, apple notes, biscuit, a tiny hit of resinous pine on the backend
F: low carbonation, almost flat thinner than I was expecting.
O: Labelled as a west coast IPA but I wouldn't call it that. Nothing too exciting here but its a decent beer nonetheless. Another Junkyard beer that I've had that is right around average. I'd like to see more big badass beers from them.

Poured from 750ml crowler can into glass. Packaged date is '08/16/17'.
Has a slightly hazy, brilliant orange/golden body, two finger white head settles to interrupted cap, moderate lacing.
Even at this extended date from packaging, this has very expressive aroma and taste. Label identifying this as a 'WEST COAST' IPA, and this does has the background bittering effect. Aroma is full of tropical fruit, sweet and pith bitter, grapefruit. Taste of grapefruit, pineapple, peach, and pith.
Mouth feel is medium, and biting.
A very 'in your face' IPA.
