Poured from a 750ml crowler into glass. Filled on date of 'DEC 04 2017'.
Body is a murky golden orange color. Persistent bubbly white cap. Lots of strings of lacing.
Smell is citrus fruit, mostly orange and some more tart grapefruit. Slight vanilla aroma also.
Taste is sweeter citrus (orange), balanced with the perfume of vanilla. Only a very slight bitterness in the aftertaste.
Medium, coating mouth feel.
Very quaffable IPA. Not too sweet, but definitely more sweet than bitter. It's like a beer vanilla milk shake.

L: pours a murky gold with the body looking very much like a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice under a 3" ecru blanket of foam
S: Cracking the can releases a range of vanilla and tropical fruit aromas that have me thinking about an Orange Creamsicle
T: beer has layers of flavor focused by the Shake-O-Matic theme. You can taste the vanilla but it is restrained and well balanced by both the hop flavors and the malt.
F: very rich pulpy texture that is close to a nitro beer in creaminess
O: The brewer has not over done the vanilla in this beer resulting in a balanced, flavorful, and very easy to drink IPA.

While I am generally not a fan of lactose IPAs, Vanilla Shake-o-matic is probably the closest thing I've had to its actual namesake - a legit vanilla shake. The mouthfeel is rich, the vanilla is pungent and present, and the nose is fantastic. I can only drink just a bit of this (dairy allergy, lactose intolerant, etc.), but I very endorse this beer - it's excellent.

Packaged 12/04/17 with El Dorado stamped next to the date. $8.99 for the crowler.
Does not look as nasty as some of these cloudy IPAs are. Dull orange color with a large head. Plenty of lacing is left on the glass. This beer smells like fresh squeeze orange juice. Not much else though. The flavor is like orange juice as well. The vanilla is very subtle and there is just a faint sense of it lingering in the finish. Bitterness is low with a soft mouthfeel.
