Junkyard Experimental IPA Motueka. 6% ABV. IBU:? Moorhead, MN.
Highly hazed, thick orange tone, big head, chalk white. Looking nice, leaving lace.
In the nose: Bright and citrusy hop flavors at play. Lemon, tangerine, pineapple.
In the mouth: Intense hop character jumps on board the palate, spilling citrusy goodness. Medium body, long hoppy finish. Bitterness is lighter in this one. But none the less enjoyable.
I'm still not 100% sure about the Motueka hop, though I've had ales with many of them, just haven't nailed it. This IPA is bursting with big citrus-y flavors, mild bitterness, is utterly quenchably delicious.
Damn fine IPA, perfect for any hop-head.

Poured from a 750mm crowler can into glass. Fill date stamped on can as '11/30/17'.
Hazy, pale yellow colored body. Bright white two finger head, settles to thin cap. Sheets of lacing on glass. Particles settle to bottom of glass.
Subdued aroma of tropical hops.
Taste is grapefruit, mango, and pineapple. More bitter, pith at the end. Not a sweet IPA.
Medium, pillowy mouth feel.
Pleasant drinking IPA, but not sweet, more bitter. Not West Coast style, not NEIPA style, just another Junkyard Experimental IPA.
