This beer pours a slightly hazy light gold with a large head. The aroma is unmistakably orangey, with fresh orange juice aroma combined with orange hard candy, and a bit of mango, pineapple, and pine. The flavor is quite sweet, with mandarin orange slice and candied orange peel flavors, as well as mango, pineapple, pine, and a sweet greenness as well. The mouthfeel is fairly full and soft, with bright, sudsy carbonation. Overall this is a delicious beer, with clear and solid flavors. Actually better than I anticipated given the main flavor element.

Poured from crowler can into glass. Fill date stamped as '5/14/18 (JREAMSICLE)'.
Murky, orange/mango colored body. Two finger white head settles to interrupted islands and rings. Lots of clumps of lacing. This version of Junkyard's Shake-o-Matic beers exhibited more head expression upon pouring than other Shake-0-Matic beers.
Juicy and resiny orange aroma, along with the lactose sweetness and the vanilla.
Taste is a brief orange and tangerine sweetness, quickly supplanted by the more bitter peel. Lactose also contributes to the sweetness. The vanilla provides an airy quality.
Medium to thick mouth feel. Lower hop bitterness but bitterness is expressed by the orange peel. Aftertaste is citrus, with a slight vanilla lift.
One of the more expressive Junkyard Shake-o-Matic beers. The orange/tangerine flavor is featured more than the lactose and the vanilla (more tang than sweet). Would be a very good porch sipping beer during warmer weather.

This is one of the better shake-style beers I've had, and though I still find the vanilla and lactose to be strange complements for hops, this one really sings. The nose brings a lot of fresh squeezed orange taste with some good pulp and a little rind, a little vanilla, and some flowery hoppiness. On the tongue, the vanilla is very modest and natural, with a faint edge and the lactose is even more modest and complementary. The hops shine, bringing out a nice gentle bitterness. The feel is creamy, smooth, and full without being heavy. All in all, a very well-made beer.

This beer pours a very hazy, murky, orange color. The head is 2 finger, white, frothy, long lasting, and has some nice lacing as it dissipates.
The nose is hoppy, and, per the name, orange dominates.
Taste - Actually a bit more mellow than I would have expected up front. The hops kick in more on the backside. Citrus, and orange tasting.
Decent bodied, nice feel going down my throat. Some carbonation feel.
Tasty IPA. Not overly hoppy, and fairly easy drinking.

Crowler. White head. Burnt sunset orange.
Tangerine orange flavor all around. Juicy and citrusy. Earthy and floral hops. Light bitterness. Pretty easy drinking.
