Here's the barrel-aged version of a stout with so much flavor that it's "UNCRUSHABLE"! This incredibly dark beer is packed with notes of dark fruit, coffee, fudge, and caramel.

Poured from crowler can into glass. Fill date marked as '3/15/18'.
Completely opaque, black colored body. Creamy, dark tan colored head which stays around. Some light webs of lacing.
'JACK DANIELS' is stamped in the area where ABV% and fill date are stamped. I can only think this is the flavor of whiskey barrel used for aging this beer.
The whiskey aroma wafts from the beer. When the nose is closer to the beer surface, the coffee, fudge, molasses, and prune/raisin aromas come forth.
The dark fruit flavors (prune and anise) along with the whiskey barrel sit above the coffee and fudge flavors. The caramel/molasses flavor kind of sits between.
Full, sticky mouth feel. Actual alcohol burn is not really there, but the aroma and taste of the barrel are. Low carbonation.
This is a pure sipping beverage, which releases more flavor layers as the beer warms. The strong barrel aroma and flavor aspects add to an already robust tasting beer. It's like a liquid version of a very high grade chocolate confectionary, soaked in whiskey.
