Poured from crowler into glass. Fill date stamped on label is '7/16/18'. Brett from Drastic Measure Brewing (Wadena MN) collaborated in this brew.
Totally murky, pale gold colored body. Three finger white colored head settles to partial cap and ring. Leaves behind strings of lacing.
Complex aroma of hops - dank, grassy, floral, citrus, and catty.
Taste is very sharp and lights up the mouth. Has a little stinging effect on the tongue but is nearly bitterness free. Has the flavors of pineapple/grapefruit juice.
Medium to full mouth feel. Slightly coating. Big carbonation.
Does not have the true juicy bomb flavor of the hazy IPA (NEIPA) nor the pillowy mouth feel, but the beer is totally quaffable. Kind of deliciously tasty after a fashion, but not initially a flavor that makes one say "Wow!". Taste is a little on the acidic side. Allow to warm up from a refrigerated temperature to savor the better flavors.
