Our "Shake-o-Matic" series of I.P.A.s is all about experimenting with flavors that complement this "milkshake" style I.P.A. recipe! With Loral and Falconer's Flight hops. Ale brewed with peach puree, pineapple puree, strawberry puree, lactose, apple puree, and vanilla beans.

L: hazy, murky, milky gold permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 3" cream tinted off-white foam cap with fair to good retention

S: Strawberry and peach notes, pie crust and vanilla bean jump

T: Rich malt, added fruit, vanilla, lactose and hop flavors join to evoke a rich piece of fresh fruit pie while an assertive bitterness keeps it from being cloying

F: very creamy, full bodied, juicy and pulpy with medium carbonation

O: full flavored, satiating beer

Poured from crowler into glass. Packaged on '7/23/18'. Also called "FUFU Berry".
Murky, gold colored body. Initial pour resulted in three finger eggshell white head. Leaves behind some lacing spots.
Aroma is an amalgam of fruits and lactose. Nothing real distinct stands out.
Taste is generally sweet, with differing waves of the fruit - strawberry, then peach, and then pineapple. The more tart pineapple lingers into the after taste. Has a touch of the lighter vanilla. No bitterness.
Medium mouth feel. Elicits a little tongue burn. Good carbonation.
This is one of the more flavorful (that is, complex) of the Shake-o-Matic beer series, and it makes sense because multiple fruit flavors are components. The peach flavor in the middle of the profile is quite sublime and lasts for just a couple of seconds before the pithier pineapple comes front and center. Has a tart edge also, which is a good balance to the overall sweetness. I will buy this whenever it is released.
