Poured from crowler into glass. Filled on 'SEP 06 2018'.
Kind of a clamato color to the body, rhubarb/cherry. Totally thick with no through visibility. One finger white head, which sticks around as thin cap and ring. Just a couple of spots of lacing left behind.
Again as in the appearance, the smell reminds me of rhubarb, but the cherry and lime are there also.
Taste is both tart and sweet, with true lime there but the cherry delivers sweetness but also a generic red fruit flavor. A little bit of tongue burn but no bitterness.
Medium mouth feel. Medium carbonation.
Certainly a beer but odd looking for color, and somewhat in smell and flavor for not expressing hop or malt, but rather showcasing the fruit of cherry and lime. The cherry delivers some tart/sourness but is not real prominent for its flavor. For me this is a way out of field beer, but full of expression and experimentation.
