Poured from crowler can into glass. Filled on '8/21/18'.
Opaque, black colored body. Two finger of mocha brown head upon first pour, which settles to thick, creamy cap. Sheer curtains of lacing left behind.
Sweet fudge and pecans are strong in the aroma, with the lighter vanilla hovering above.
Taste is like boozy fudge chocolate covered pecans. Vanilla adds a minor note.
Creamy, medium to full mouth feel. Lots of alcohol vapors. The first version of this beer, with the cinnamon, was much more harsh than this one is. This one is quite smooth, with a late profile flavor of very dark fruit covered by chocolate fudge.
