This New England style DIPA is brewed with a blend of Citra, Citra, and more Citra hops for a fresh hop character that’s better than ever! It’s bursting with aromas of juicy orange, white peach, and pear followed by flavors of candied orange peel and stone fruits, with a hint resin make this beer big, bold, and straight to the point, just like Vince.⁣

Canned 2/24/23 (3 months ago)

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (0-5% clarity) pale light golden to light peach color with a strong white head. SRM of 6. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong arms of orange citrus, ripe tangerine, pineapple, papaya and cantaloupe melon.

Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange citrus, white peach, tangerine, grapefruit with some sweet pineapple melon underneath. Juicy with an ultimate body. Slightly sweet.

Feel: Heavier body, strong carbonation to match. Creamy and smooth finish.

Compared to BlackStack Purely Decorative 6/2023: Pours darker, hazier, similar head. Stronger aromas. More orange, tangerine, melon. Less citrus and mango. More malty. Creamier, heavier, smoother, and sweeter.

Overall: Fantastic NEIPA from Junkyard. They can make some great ones and this is that. Big, smooth and creamy. Yet complex flavors for solely the Citra hop. Big malt body too that gives it heaviness. Sort of reminds me of some of the Eagle Park IPAs. Big, complex and smooth. (Rating: 4.20)

25.4 oz can from Tavour. Orange yellow body, small white creamy head, streaky lacing. Aroma is light citrus and white bread. Taste brings sweet, juicy flavors with a soft tangy flavor, citrus peel. A touch of peach and pear, very faint. Creamy, velvety.

Clouded as they come, golden hued, large layer of ivory froth atop, looking just right for the style.

In the nose: Soft and citrusy, utterly pleasant.

In the mouth: Light-bodied, full of the fluff, hazy on the palate, as well as to the eye. Slight bitterness slide on the palate, but is drowned out by the juice. Juicy, juicy, juicy. Big citrus, full-on flavors of orange, grapefruit, tangerine, with a dash of the tropical, too. Tasty one, here, and very easy drinking.

The high alcohol rises up and the flavors take on a candied tinge. Tropical fruit/stone fruit sweetness takes over from the citrus, and it's all a delight the rest of the way down. Wonderful beer.

L: Hazy gold permeated by streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 2" off white cap with a very fine bead and excellent retention.

S: big tangerine scent supported by biscuit and hops. fermentation character low.

T: Medium bitterness seasons big tangerine and fruit flavors with a touch of tart.

F: Juicy, creamy, medium body and carbonation.

O: A very drinkable full flavored beer with clean flavors that work well together.

Poured from crowler into glass. Fill date is stamped as '9/12/18'.
Cloudy straw/gold colored body. Two fingers of white bubbly head upon pouring settle to thick cap and ring. Leaves behind some web patterns of lacing.
Big juicy citrus aromas, with a corresponding hop burn.
Taste is sweet juicy citrus at the onset followed by resin burn at the end. Has a definite hemp flavor behind the taste profile. No real bitterness but expresses hop burn in the throat.
Soft, medium mouth feel. Carbonation is low, but supportive.
Very easy to drink beer that is soft in the mouth, and mighty juicy with that hop burn at the end. Totally quaffable because of the initial sweetness and the softness. The individual sweet flavors are difficult to discern but this is definitely dominated by citrus.
