Poured from crowler into glass. Fill date is stamped as '10/24/18'.
Murky apricot/mango colored body. Two finger of white head settles back to thin cap and ring. Leaves behind some scattered spots of lacing.
Aroma of hops is both fruity and dirty/earthy.
Taste follows the smells, and is fruity and earthy. At the end there is a metallic, rind-like bitterness.
Medium to full mouth feel. Good carbonation.
This is only a mildly sweet tasting beer, with a different set of hop flavors, that go to the vegetal/earthy spectrum. I think this would be a good beer choice for a very hot day on the patio. As the beer warms a bit, there is a flavor set toward the end that is very slightly spicy (hop burn) and reminds me of marmalade.
