Crowler can. Fill date is '7/2/19'.
Black colored body with some reddish back lit highlights. Big brown head with first pour, but this subsides to partial cap. Leaves behind a webbing of lacing.
Aroma is fudge chocolate and vanilla. This is very strong. Also there is a hint of graham cracker, and might that be maple?
The taste is sweet and decadently rich. Lots of cocoa and fudge chocolate, that is matched with the vanilla. The graham cracker is back there somewhere. No bitterness and not too sweet, but definitely a dessert beer.
Thicker mouth feel, with a little chocolate syrup feel. Okay carbonation.
This does have a s'mores vibe, and a strong smell and taste. The higher ABV% is not really noticed while drinking. Watch out.

32oz crowler courtesy of Victory_Sabre1973. Canned (crowled?) on December 15, 2018. Since late fall/early winter was a period of little beer consumption for health reasons, and then because I skipped over it on account of it's aging potential due to it's fierce strength, it's hung around til now, when I'm quite desperate for beer space.
Whoa! Big gusher upon opening. Brown beer has shot all over my kitchen! A rushed emergency pour into a 12oz snifter produced a glass of 50% foam. Eventually it dropped and I was able to do a proper pour. A nearly black colored shade of brown, impenetrable for light, with a big, dark khaki head that had strong staying power. Lots of lace.
Smells like chocolate and Graham crackers, with a whisp of vanilla.
Big, sweet dessert beer here. Big milk chocolate flavor up front, with an almost equally big vanilla flavor kicking in midway through. What seemed like Graham crackers in the nose is way in the background here in the taste. Kinda wish it was a little bigger, with the vanilla toned down. Lingering deep in the background is some bourbon aroma and flavor.
A little thin in the body, considering the otherwise huge nature of this beer.
Aside from the body, everything is huge about this beer except the impact of the alcohol. This tastes nowhere near as big and.boozy than it actually is. This may, in fact, at 32oz, turn out to be a bit of a chore to drink alone. I probably should have gotten one or two friends together to help drain this beast of a beer. A 12oz serving would probably be pretty outstanding.

Pours a thick black color. The head is tan, very frothy, 3 finger, and has great retention. As the head dissipates, there's some nice lacing on the glass.
The nose hits you as you open it up and pour it into the glass. Deep chocolate is the main aroma. I also get a hint of vanilla. Some notes from the barrel aging. Just a hint of lactose.
The taste - I am starting to drink it at 52 degrees - The chocolate starts me off. Vanilla hits harder than the chocolate does on the backside. You do get a hint of the barrel in this beer that binds the other flavors together. There's also a bit of lactose that hits me up front with the chocolate.
The body is pretty thick. There's actually minimal alcohol burn. Somewhat hard to believe that this is a beer that clocks in at over 11%.
Solid and tasty beer. Junkyard really hit it hard with this tasty beer.
