Poured from crowler into glass. Fill date is stamped '1/2/19'.
Very cloudy, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of brilliant white head upon pouring, with multiple bubble sizes, reduces back to a thin cap. Webs of lacing left behind.
Aroma of pine and citrus, with a little mango and melon.
Taste is very juicy, with pineapple and melon, with piney and pith bitterness towards the end. Lots of pine needles in the aftertaste.
Medium to full mouth feel. Very good carbonation. Expresses a little stickiness.
There were many Junkyard releases in 2018, and the pace seems to have increased in 2019. Many of these releases are one and dones, with some mediocrity. This one has some legs, but the sweetness does start to overwhelm in the second half of the pour.
