On tap at junkyard. 7.0%

Pale straw yellow color.

Light hazy with a unique bitterness. The vanilla is fun. Pine, grass, a little citrus, very odd beer. A little sticky finish.

Very distinct and surprising IPA that few brewers could pull off. Kudos to Junkyard. It looks and is smooth as velvet and vanilla sweet with exotic fruit notes on the nose and the pallet. The mouthfeel combined with the flavor definitely invites session drinking. Dangerous. I could drink a couple of these with ease. So could/will you

Poured from crowler into glass. Fill date stamped as '12/28/18'.
Cloudy, straw to pale gold colored body. One finger of white head settles back quickly to thin cap. Leaves behind a few scattered spots of lacing.
Aroma is pineapple, peach, mango, and lots of vanilla.
Taste rolls out the pineapple, peach, and mango, and overlays with the vanilla. No bitterness here.
Mouth feel is fuller and soft. Good carbonation.
This is a sweet, but not too sweet IPA, but one has to like vanilla in order to gain best appreciation. The lack of any bitterness is very noticeable, as the beer invites the drinker to imbibe large gulps at a time.

This beer pours a hazy yellow with an average head. The aroma features notes of candied pineapple, nougat, mango, vanilla, peach, apricot, and boiled sweets in general. The flavor starts with a nice hit of vanilla and nougat, with pineapple, peach, and mango. The mouthfeel is soft and slightly pillowy, with broad, mild carbonation. Overall this is an excellent little beer, mild in presentation, but utterly distinct and clear in flavor, it is a real treat.
