Pours a dark golden/orange color. 2 finger white frothy head. Head retention is quite good. Some lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose is not extremely strong, but I do get pineapple from the hops.
Taste - Nice and tasty pineapple juice. That's what I get. Just pure pineapple.
The body is creamy, and juicy. It's an 8%+ beer, but is very easy drinking,
Just a very good IPA from Junkyard.

L: hazy gold under a 2" off-white foam cap with good retention

S: It smells of pineapple, moderate levels of vanilla, and citrusy hops and a trace of grass..

T: A sweet start with big fruit flavors including citrus, pineapple, and vanilla. Hop bitterness is moderate.

F: Very creamy with a medium plus body and very soft, medium carbonation.

O: This is an easy to drink, very rich full flavored beer. It would be hard to drink more than one in an evening.

Poured from crowler into glass. Fill date stamped as '1/7/19', followed by "BE FR1ENDLY".
Murky, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head reduces back to thin, bubbly cap. Leaves behind scattered webs of lacing.
Aroma is faint, and certainly exhibits some citrus notes, and the lactose and vanilla add a little.
Taste is pineapple-like, but turns to a non-sweet bitterness and a certain touch of hop burn.
Medium body feel. Smooth except for the hop burn.
This is a beer from a series that experiments with flavors to complement the milkshake style (lactose and vanilla). I would advise to drop this recipe from the line up and try something different. Both smell and flavor are muted, and the resulting bitterness is not a reason to return.

Crowler. White head. Hazy sunset orange color.

This one has a very odd bitterness going on. It is almost over the top. It could be the pineapple, but either way it is kind of off putting. Nice vanilla sweetness to try and balance it out. Not the biggest fan of this version.
