Junkyard Ultracloud New England Style Double IPA. 8.1 % ABV. Junkyard Brewing, Moorhead, MN. Packaged 2/11/19.
Ever-so hazy. milky white head.
In the nose: Nicely hopped, low-key citrus notes. Orange and lemon, and ...what else? Something I can't quite define.
In the mouth: Soft, yet fruity, with an intense bite from the onset. Citrus-y/lemon-y flavors are big, but fade fast. Medium-bodied, and easy drinking for a double. Fresh, lively, and delicious. Ends on a nice and tidy dry note. Refreshing, tasty, and the booze finally hits. There you are, you little rascal. Come to papa.
Man, I'm liking this more and more as I go. Maybe I'll go back and get some more.

L: hazy gold topped with 2" persistent ecru colored foam cap.
S: big herbal hop aromas, joined by grape, wine, tropical fruit, grass, pineapple, and biscuit. Hop aromas dominate.
T: Big hop flavors follow the aromas with citrus rind, pith and peel bitterness that lingers and helps dry the beer out from a light initial sweetness. A hint of vanilla and pie crust.
F: creamy, medium full body, soft carbonation, juicy.
O: A full flavored, luscious beer where all the parts work very well together.

On tap. White head. Hazy orange sunset. Looks like oj.
Pineapple and lemon citrus. Earthy hops, fruity with a light bitterness. Solid, but nothing over the top.
