Poured out of a crowler into a Sam Adams glass. 6.7% ABV

L: Hazy opaque golden with a one finger white head
S: Tropical fruit. Smells basically identical to the Toppling Goliath beers I consumed last week.
T: Sweet and juicy with no bitterness.
F: Medium-heavy bodied, smooth, creamy, juicy
O: This beer is not my thing— prefer them more dank and resinous. But I could see people loving this as it’s a true juice bomb that’s very easy to drink.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and has some whitish hues. It poured with a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass and some lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of lychee are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of lychee and lime. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The aromas and flavors of the Citra hops really seem to stand out in this NEIPA.

Hazy deep golden with a thick just offwhite head, looks decent. I’ll tell ya what, I can already smell some tropical scents just pouring off this brew. Head still deep. Ok here, nice and fruity and sweet enough to quell most of the bite. Tropical New England for sure here. Towards creamy but not there. Really nice big ole can here.

Hazy, murky golden color, slim white head.

In the nose: citrus, some tropical notes, all covered in fuzz.

In the mouth: bright and lively on the palate. Orange and lemon interplay with pineapple and papaya. Jumpin’ Jehoshaphat, it’s a tasty one. Medium bodied, refreshing, long fruity finish. Just enough hop bitterness to keep control of the sweetness. Yum, you guessed it, a dum dum.

I’m going to finish this crowler in no time and wish I had another.

from a 10 day old crowler, into a tulip. (The crowler has the same color scheme but different design...the MN state outline with a golf flag...must be '20 as opposed to '19.) Looks great, very cloudy peachy orange and a little chalky, with a good 1 finger head with some retention and good lacing. Nose is sugary sweet pineapple, tangerine...3.5 might be unfair, but it is just a little too sweet and sugary for me, and also a bit one-note. On the other hand, the taste and the feel really work pretty nicely together...pretty full flavor profile, with some layers and depth and also very juicy and soft, with some modest hoppy liveliness at the edges. Junkyard is pretty reliably very good to great, and this is right in that range.
