Aged in first use Willett bourbon barrels, this award winning Imperial Peanut Stout showcases the alluring flavor combination of soft, delicate peanut butter cups dipped in bourbon. Appearance is thick and black like motor oil and the aroma hits you with flakey butterfinger candy, fudge, cocoa bean, and slight marshmallow. You'll notice flavor notes of sweet leaf tobacco, bourbon, dry roasted peanut, milk chocolate, and vanilla.⁣

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that left wisps of lacing on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of peanut butter are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of peanut butter along with hints of bourbon from the barrel aging.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout is all about the peanut butter but drinks a lot easier than what I would have expected for a beer that is 11.7% abv.

Black body with a brown collar. Smell is amazing, perhaps the best pb BA stout out there: peanut butter cup with the chocolate being fudge like soaked in bourbon, with oak, vanilla, tobacco and a kiss of molasses supporting. Taste starts the same way in glorious fashion, but the finish is a disaster, with the peanut butter turning to burnt rust and the booze really amplifying. Too bad because for 85% of the sip it is glorious! Feel is warm, very full and decently thick, great barrel without being overly boozy, but that finish does have a raw feeling.
