Canned 12/22/2022 (1.5 months ago)
Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) light, bright, yet pale yellow color with a strong white head that lingers and laces the glass beautifully. SRM of 5. (4.25)
Aroma: Strong aromas of bright tangerine, navel orange peel, zesty tropical pineapple, guava, and cantaloupe melon. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong and zesty flavors of orange citrus, bright tangerine, navel orange peel, tropical and juicy lemon and pineapple mixed with some mango and cantaloupe melon underneath. Juicy, zesty, mildly sweet. (4.25)
Feel: Medium-bodied, appropriate carbonation. Zesty, juicy, slightly sweet. (4.25)
Compared to Hop Butcher Scrap Metal 2/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. Stronger aromas. More zesty orange peel and pineapple. Less dank herbal notes, bubblegum, and melon. Juicier. Winner: Rock the Cash Bar
Overall: An excellent NEIPA here. Absolutely excellent. Tons of juicy bright tangerine, navel orange peel, zesty pineapple flavors. Juicy, citrusy, zesty, with just enough melon/mango sweetness. Rounded and dynamic. Nothing to say but great things here. Junkyard can make a good NEIPA and this may be one of their best. (Rating: 4.29 maybe plus)

What's a Vermont-style IPA? Are the specifically going after the New England-style IPAs made in that state? Is it a statement that they are being definitive, doing this one in the OG style? I don't know, they won't tell us. And on it goes...
Cloudy as all heck, bright yellow hue, slim white head.
n the nose: Fresh, bold, and lovely, straw, citrus, and a little pine. Floral, beautiful. Just lovely.
In the mouth: Mmm, yum. Big citrus. Restrained bitterness, lean malt, medium bodied, clean, slightly bitter finish. More tropical notes intrude into the fruity mouthfeel, but they are welcomed. Very tasty, quite delicious, ultimately refreshing and delightful.
Another Junkyard beer down, another one in the win column.

Vermont style DIPA
Pours a hazy straw yellow with a thinnish head that retains some lacing.
Lightly sweet orange pith nose with faint pine.
Citrus/tangerine pith on the front with some pine and lemon zest notes. Medium bodied. Creamy on the palate. Fading lemon bitterness. Lightly sweet.
This one is certainly okay but nothing special.
