Pours a deep mauve with a quarter inch of pink foam that resiliently coats the sides of the glass. Looks delicious.
Smells of tart berries, lemon zest and citrus peels.
Taste is tart berries up front with citrus-IPA elements adding a layer of bitterness and complexity. Some strawberry sweetness filling in around the edges late. The pleasant wash of sour/berries early with zesty carbonation pricks the tongue nicely unfortunately the fruit fades too quickly with a mild lingering unflavorful astringent element which disappoints only compared to the opening salvo— and the body is definitely too thin.
Overall a nice sour 8.4% ABV IPA but could use a bit more heft.
