This fruited sour beer was brewed with lactose, aged on Madagascar vanilla beans, and uses a healthy portion of Tangerine and Apricot. The tartness of the fruits together with the richness of vanilla beans and lactose creates the perfect combination of sweet and sour.

32oz crowler. Fill date of 'JAN 2 2020'.
Looks like filtered orange juice. Brief white head. No lacing.
Aroma of vanilla and lactose, with the fruit smells behind this wall.
Taste is much more balanced between the lactose/vanilla sweetness and the tartness of the fruit. After taste is nearly as balanced, with the fruit slightly more tart.
Medium mouth feel. Slightly sticky, but also smooth. Good carbonation. Very little alcohol intrusion.
Difficult to describe this as a beer, but provides a fermented base liquid to display the art of using add in components to produce a fruited sour taste. The balance achieved between the sweet and the sour is well done. I can taste the flavors of apricot and tangerine but the real tart note is countered/sweetened by the lactose and vanilla.
