This fruited sour beer was brewed with lactose, aged on Madagascar vanilla beans, and uses a healthy portion of ripe raspberry and juicy blueberry. The tart taste of blue-raspberry together with the richness of vanilla beans and lactose creates the perfect combination of sweet and sour. Just like the slurpies you had as a kid!

A: The beer is rather hazy dark purple in color. It poured with a half finger high pinkish purple head that gradually died down but never completely faded away.
S: Light aromas of blueberries are present in the nose along with notes of raspberries.
T: The taste follows the smell, but is a little stronger and has hides of sourness along with faint bits of vanilla.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I was pleasantly surprised to see the aromas and flavors of blueberries stand out in this beer, as normally these would have been drowned out by the raspberries. The milk sugar and lactose aren't really that apparent so I wouldn't consider this to be a dessert beer.
