This was another beer that I picked up on Tavour recently as I really enjoyed their Little Sticky itertion that I had recently. Not that this was bad, but it was a textbook example of a New England IPA that checked off all of the proverbial boxes without being memorable in any particular aspect.
Golden, hazy, and topped off with plenty of foam, the big bubbles were in the middle as it never fully subsided. Lots of lacing was left behind with a few hints of rings making themselves known along the back side of my pint glass. Stone fruit, passion fruit, and tangy lime were in the nose as some dank grapefruit, white peach, grape, and hint of white wine emerged in the taste once this fully warmed up. Plenty nuanced, refreshing, and relatively light, this had a nice taste to it as the lively carbonation kept things light and took the edge off of the booze. Hints of wheat complemented everything else going on here with the end result being an IPA that was plenty fruity, juicy, and easily accessible down to the last sip.
This warmed me up a bit although it wasn't strong by any means as it was plenty plush and reminiscent of the brews that I loved from SingleCut, thanks to the presence of hops from the other hemisphere. Packaged on 9/22, this held up well over the last six months as I'd love to have this on tap to find out if it was any better. It took a while for me to fully appreciate this but the time was well worth it, as it was another enjoyable offering from Junkyard. Worth a go if you like your beers soft and fruit-forward...

Pours a hazy light lemon yellow color with nice head and lacing. Smell is lemon citrus pineapple and peach. Taste follows nose but is very subtle in flavor some passion fruit. Mouth feel light and watery with above taste notes. Drinks like a session IPA, very watered done .

Ever-so hazy, bright yellow hue, large and lasting pure white head. Looking great.
In the nose: The Citra. the citrus, the fuzz. I don't know from "nectaron".
In the mouth: From the kick, it's a juicy one, and a fuzzy one. Some bitterness, but mostly low-key, mild, moderate, slim malt, but heavy on the citrus. Fruity all the way. Lemon and orange and grapefruit. Highly diggable.
I like this character on the label. He's reminding me of my Micronauts toys from my childhood, and the accompanying Marvel comics.
Sometimes I turn to Untappd for the description of the beers. This is all they give: New England Style IPA with Citra and Nectaron Hops.
But, there's more on the label. Before I type that out, I'm going to see if it's on their website, so I can cut and paste. Huh, it's gone. Maybe it's on BA. Nope, it's not even on there. Jeez, you turn your back on a website for a decade, and no one rises up to cover the database. sigh. I'll get my glasses on...
