500ml bottle. From the label description the bottling date is '11/8/2024', also the ABV% on this bottle is 12%.
Black colored body. Brief lasting and fizzy light brown colored head, leaving a mild surface storm and a very thin ring. No lacing, but leaves a film.
Aroma is bourbon, chocolate, nuts, and maple syrup.
Taste is a candy bar soaked in bourbon. Flavors of sweet maple syrup, sweet chocolate, nuts, bourbon barrel, oak, and the appearance at the end of coconut and dark cherry. Lots of alcohol vapors. Roasted malts are sweetened and have no bitterness.
More than medium mouthfeel. Smooth texture, with a little stickiness. Higher ABV% is fully expressed. Supportive carbonation.
The nuts provide an earthy flavor balance to the sweetness of the chocolate, maple syrup, and bourbon barrel. It's an enjoyable, and kind of extreme, slow sipper.

Pours a thick black color with a tan head that recedes into the darkness. Smell is fresh creamy peanuts barrel and maple . Taste has a melding of bourbon and peanuts so nice. Next up maple and its not overpowering too sweet or cloying, very nice. Woah this is tasty. Mouth feel is all three together ( bourbon ,peanut butter and maple) none gets in the way of each other. Not overly pastry sweet nor boozy a fine brew.

Junkyard values their beer highly & it shows in the prices. Problem is: I’ve had everything from drain pours to excellent beers. To buy or not to buy? $30 here. Hope it’s worth it. Split with my wife.
The black wax comes off the 750ML bottle easily & the liquid is of similar color. Nose brings a bin of peanuts & shot of bourbon. I approve.
Peanut Kong vs. Maple Monster rips on all sorts of levels. Hefty bourbon alongside unsalted peanuts mix with the sweetness of the maple that twists my nipples just right. Chocolate is late to the scene & melds with the maple for a smooth, silky, delicious finish. Full. Slightly orgasmic. The level of liquid in my glass is falling at an alarming pace.
Rich, sweet, full of barrel. Excellent beer.
