We pushed the boundaries with Secret Tiger, using a specially modified yeast strain designed to highlight “thiols” (say thigh-alls)—aromatic compounds that bring out tropical, citrusy, and winey notes. The result is a juicy, fruit-forward NEIPA bursting with pineapple juice aroma and flavor. Our brewers tested a variety of hops to find the perfect blend that complements this unique yeast, creating a vibrant, aromatic, and utterly tropical IPA you won’t forget.

A little sharper in taste than most of the Junkyard Hazy's...a bit of orange peel, touch of tropical fruits, more bitterness on the finish than expected for the style, higher side of medium bodied...creamy, smooth, soft still, but with a bit more dryness on the finish...
This is a solid NE IPA but falls short of many of their other offerings in this style.

16oz can, adhesive label. Date stamp on label is 'PKGD 12/12/25', about three weeks in the can.
Gets hazy with the full pour, with a bright straw colored body. One finger of fine bubble, white colored head, which maintains as a thin cap. Leaves behind a lattice pattern of lacing on the non-drinking side of the glass, and all around with the final quaff.
Aroma is strong with pineapple, joined by other tropical and citrus fruits, plus some dank bud.
Taste is super juicy, sharp, and sweet, with the main flavor being pineapple. Other flavors include tangerine, lemon, mango, and papaya, white wine, plus sweet pine. The dank bud is there but not as prominent as in the nose. The aftertaste stays sweet and fruit juicy until the very end when more earthy flavors emerge.
More than medium mouthfeel. Soft and smooth texture. There is a definite bite but general bitterness is low. Leads to tongue numbness with repeated sips. Induces multiple swallows to get the taste profile through the mouth. Excellent carbonation.
Entertaining hazy IPA that delivers strong aroma and flavors.
