I visited West Seattle Brewing last weekend when I happened to see it while driving by. It's a neat little establishment, with a combo bar/coffee shop at the brewery. They just renovated and the place looks good, with lots of stainless steel brewing equipment and a little bit of an industrial feel.
The beers themselves were decent; I tried the house IPA and the tripel and while they were not much to write home about they got the job done. I do like the fact that they had a tripel at all; you don't see too many small breweries making this style. They had a guest beer as well, plus a guest cider and root beer on tap (something I always like to see). The bartender was friendly and while their menu is small, there is a barbecue joint next door that will fill your food needs. I want to return at some point and try a few more of their beers.

I stopped in here this month while visiting Seattle. It's a pretty short distance right over the West Seattle bridge. First thing I noticed was the BBQ smoker out back. Nice. Inside, it's got an industrial feel. Lots of glass to see into the brewhouse area. They had a few guest beers on tap, and four of their own. They offered three sized glasses. I had the porter, and it was pretty good. There is merchandise and growlers for sale. Seemed like a cool place and maybe I can try a few more of their beers on my next visit. I will return for sure.
