Served on tap into a snifter glass.
A- Poured a dark brown with bubbly off-white head that left splashy lace.
S- Big bourbon notes, coconut, vanilla. and oak notes.
T- Big coconut, vanilla, bourbon, oak, milk chocolate, and cocoa notes.
M- Lighter to medium bodied, light warming, prickly carbonation, and dry finish.
O- One of the easiest drinking barrel aged beers I have ever had. Really nice barrel and porter characteristics. and great balance of flavors. Mazama is quickly becoming one of my most favorite and consistent breweries in Oregon with lots of incredible Belgian ales and it turns out they make other non-Belgian style beers just as well.
