22oz bottle
Pours a nice two finger white head into my willi glass. Super creamy looking head, yumm. Body is golden orange in color, with a huge amount of bubbles coming up from the bottom. This looks great so far.
Man, the nose is just magnificent. Super clean, and full of fruity esters. Lots and lots of clove, some banana. Very floral. Maybe just a hair mineraly. No booze aroma at all either. Smells perfect, exactly how it should smell.
Taste is much the same, fruity esters up front, some clove, finishes a little grainy, though not too offensive there. Just the smallest bit of bitterness comes through and stays for a while. No booze presence at all really, I suppose it warms my belly a bit, but that’s a good thing. Wonderful tasting beer.
Mouthfeel is good, that graininess has a little bit of a rough feel to it though. The bitterness is not unwelcome, and while it is very small, it does linger. Pretty wet at first, certainly finishes a little drier. Body is pretty light overall. Carbonation is medium, maybe medium-light. Overall a nice, not boring mouthfeel.
The drinkability is very impressive for a beer that’s pushing 8 percent. It goes down without any hesitation, and does nothing but warm the tummy.
The appearance on this guy was quite good. The head retention was very impressive, and creamy. It retained a little island of head the entire time. Lacing was thick all the way down the glass. Great looking beer.
Overall this is a strait forward beer, but it’s clean and extremely well done. Not to mention it hides its alcohol quite well.

Starts out with a nice yeasty, musty aroma, and stays in the zone, but overall is rather pedestrian. Orange gold body with small foamy head. Elements of butter, sweet malt, honey, coriander. Sweet and mildly savory, medium candy finish.

22oz bomber poured to tulip
Pours a lightly hazed red-blonde. Almost entirely and inappropriately devoid of any head
Aroma hits some nice belgian notes: orange, bread, would undoubtedly be better with more carbonation
Flavor is also ok, some classic belgian candi sugar, honey, tobacco, yeast
Mouthfeel is dead and lifeless and slick.
This beer shows some promise in aroma and flavor, the price point is attractive, and I tried to be kind in my rating for those reasons, but overall is a swing and a miss for me. Lack of carbonation leaves the mouthfeel dead and frankly a little repulsive, and is entirely off for the style. I'd like to be a homer and rate this beer much higher, but it just isn't that strong of a candidate in the belgian blonde arena, particularly when I can walk a block and get an actual Belgian

22 oz bottle bought from Lifesource in Salem OR $4.99. Says 7.7% alc on label. Pours a clear golden coloured ale , with a large and creamy.thick white head. The aroma is a little subdued but getting notes of spice, yeast and a little hop. Very balanced yeast with some really nice peppery notes above the caramel like malts and herbal hops. Mouth feel is fine and semi-thick with a nice drying finish. An OK beer

From a 22 ounce bottle, on to the beer:
This Belgian-styled blonde has a light orange color and is topped with an inch of head and spots of lacing. The aroma is dry with vague spices, some clove, and grass. With a flavor involving mint, grass, clove, candied orange, I was impressed with the complexity of this ale. Lingering in the aftertaste is a dry, grassy, and sweet flavor. It's a medium bodied beer with modest carbonation, and as a whole makes a good ale to wash down dinner.

Poured a hazy orange with almost no head from a 22oz bomber. Smells great but taste, to me, fails to deliver. Something just seems to be a little short of expectations, especially when it comes to those great, funky esters that should deliver the strong banana and fruit flavors in a Belgian style. It's there in this beer, just, well...underwhelming. Well made and very drinkable, I want to like this a lot more, and it is a fine brew, but there is definitely room for improvement.
