On tap at Local Habit in San Diego. Served in the pint shaker. Color is dark brown with a ruby edge. A thin layer of foam to start and a carbonation that renews the spritz with each swirl of the glass.
Pleasant dark roasted flavor with a burr of burnt barley. Not much aroma. Some sweet malty taste. A great quaff-- nothing about this suggests a thin or watery beer. It's quite well balanced with the light body plus plenty of malt flavors and the faint bitterness. Totally drinkable and flavorful. One of the best low-alcohol brews I've encountered in the U.S. This is the first I've heard of these guys.
