On tap at the Promenade Beer & Wine Festival in Long Beach, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest and slight herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty, but there is a slightly better hop presence in the smell to me.
Serving type: on tap.

fragrant, copper colored west coast ipa. passion fruit, citrus peel, annd dankness on the nose, with a firm malt backbone providing body to the brew. feels full for a 6.3% ipa,yet finishes bitter and dry. could easily go back for another. drop it isn't reinventing tje style, but it provides another solid option for us hop lovers in southern california.
