Pours a clear, golden amber color with red highlights. Tan cap which quickly goes away with a small amount of lacing.
Aroma is primarily caramel and roasted malt. Hop presence is slight.
Taste is equal parts caramel and roasted malt with a noticeable but small element of roasted bitterness. Almost a coffee like touch in the aftertaste. Hops are only slightly hanging around. With that said the flavors are complementary and work well together.
Medium texture with balancing carbonation.
My overall impression is of a clean, well made beer that hits the notes on pitch but the song isn't quite to my liking.
