On-tap at High Cotton Brewing Company, Memphis, TN
A: The beer is clear dark reddish brown in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow collar of off white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of chocolate malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of chocolate malts with notes of rye, the latter of which adds a bit of spiciness towards the finish. Little if any bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The rye in this beer adds a nice spicy to much to the finish and lends some complexity to the taste.
