Very dark brown, with a tan head. Stout looking, way darker than expected. Smell is very full and complex. Whisky, sweet, earthy, woody, definitely smell the treacle. I wouldn't have guessed it without the ingredients list. Taste is very much the same. Feel is smooth but fizzy. Not Lila a stout, fizzier and syrupy at the same. Very pleased with this one.
