Has a shark on the bottle, a nice hazy orange colour, a fine head of foam and decent lacing. No complaints about the looks. Did I mention the shark? Smell is full of aroma hops initially, but wears down quite quickly. Taste is not as flowery/fruity as I had hoped, though the bitterness is nice. Feel is a bit too light bodied for my liking.

Clear, typical IPA orange, slight taste of tangerine, with a not very intriguing, acidic hoppy-bitter finish. Ultimately forgettable.

L: Honey, light head, some lacing
S: Piney, wet grass, fresh cut flowers, hints of fruit like mango but wouldn't describe it as juicy or tropical at all
T: A very typical IPA, nice balance between hops and malts, for a German brewery I'd say they did a good job trying to replicate an American IPA. NIce aftertaste that makes the beer very drinkable
F: Solid feel with a smooth body
O: If your in Germany and looking for a change from the Hefe, Dunkel, or Helles get this.

Bottle from the Chicago Williams BBQ restaurant in Berlin. Looks clear amber with carbonation and a white head. Aromas of orange & grapefruit as well as sweet hops. Tastes fruity with some floral, grass and caramel notes leading to a lingering dry bitter finish. This one I liked so I picked up a bottle to bring back for my home collection.

Poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass from a .33l bottle purchased at the Craft Beer Store in Dresden, Germany.

APPEARANCE – Crystal clear golden orange -- alive w/ a flurry of carbonation. Nice thick, off-white head that lightly laces the glass with each sip.

SMELL – Flowery sweet hop aroma that teases and excites my senses.

TASTE – Exceptionally mild hop front that is in sharp contrast to the flowery hop aroma. That hint of bitterness quickly washes away into a mildly sweetness and finishes with a light bitter taper.

MOUTHFEEL – Very thin body with little to no trace of carbonation.

OVERALL – An underwhelming IPA. Odd mismatch between the great aroma and exceptionally mild hoppiness -- especially for a "West Coast" IPA. While acknowledging this IPA's country of origin I think this beer is missing the mark and is not a beer I'd buy again.
