I purchased a single 0.33-liter bottle from the Craft Beer Store in Hamburg, Germany. The beer was brewed with Hersbrucker hops from southern Germany and a mix of German malts. It poured a light, see-through golden color with subtle carbonation and a little head. It smells of sugar and fruit — mostly banana. The taste is not very heavy for a tripel. I notice traces of honey, banana, strong sweet malts, and Belgian yeast. Overall, a pleasing beer from Ratsherrn.
