From a stubby brown glass bottle, this brew is about as generic as they get. It reminds me of the old black and white 'Beer' cans that you'd find in US supermarkets in the late 70's and early 80's. The label sports the logo of the store, along with a graphic of a frosty mug of beer.
The beer itself is pale yellow, with an underwhelming head and moderate carbonation. It looks like a pale everyday lager. The smell, though, pegs this beer as clearly sub-par. A bit of grass, but a lot of cooked corn and vegetable smells. There's no real malt or hops at all, and the adjuncts come through very loudly. The taste is slightly metallic, and the beer is watery and lifeless. I bought the beer out of curiosity, but I should have left it on the shelf.
