Another supermarket branded beer beer in Italy...I should know better, but I can't resist trying a new beer.
This beer is a completely clear golden color with a soapy head. It's not really a bad looking brew, although the head is slightly thin. The aroma not great. Lots of cereal adjuncts, along with a serious cooked vegetable smell. It's like over-boiled corn and cabbage. The taste is moderately dry, with a slight bitterness and a very distracting metallic sensation. No malt flavor or any hop quality. The bitterness is somewhat redeeming, but it's more of a sensation rather than a taste. Light in body, boardering on watery (although not quite there). The finish is modestly bitter. It's expectedly forgettable.
