Beer #20 in the KALEA Beer Advent Calendar. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Bright golden straw color, great clarity lots of bubbles and medium finger sized head with average retention.
Smell - Lots of grains, some subtle sweetness, bread and grass with a slight metallic twang.
Taste - Very clean, great bready flavors, subtle undertone of sweetness before finishing with a crisp bitter flavor. No metal in the flavor.
Mouthfeel - Light-medium bodied, assertive carbonation and semi-dry finish.
Overall - One of the best Helles of the many Helles in the calendar. Very good stuff and a very worthy addition to the calendar.
