12 oz. can poured into a tulip.
A- Near black. Head is tan and pretty wimpy. Dies quickly to a ring, and leaves very little lacing.
S- Big malt sweetness. Caramel, and some slight smoke. Some faint dark, dried fruits and some booze.
T- Malty again, as should be. Caramel and a mild roast and smoke.
M- Sweet with some tannin dryness of roast and smoke. Body is full, with some smooth, mildly creamy carbonation. The tannin dryness lingers in the finish.
O- Not bad. Alcohol is not very detectable. Nice sweet and mildly smoky notes.

Poured into Odyssey shaker pint.
Look: Way dark, Tootsie Roll brown. Cream head nice lacing.
Aroma: Burnt peat moss? Charred malts, chocolate.
Taste: Very charred burnt malts. Charcoal.
Mouthfeel: Medium to heavy, dry.
Overall: Not what I expected. Amped up, burnt, not good for late summer lol

12 oz can. Pours brown with a small light tan head that quickly goes to a thin film that laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet chocolate, caramel and toffee malts with a little peat.
The flavor is sweet sugary chocolate and caramel malts with a little peat. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little watery.
Overall, a decent wee heavy. It's a bit too sweet and watery.
